The tour starts in Virpazar, where we embark on a voyage through a small, picturesque canal that leads us to an open lake. On the cruise, we will explore Grmožur, also known as the Montenegrin Alcatraz, which dates back to 1847. Passing through the Morača river delta, which is a magnificent bird-watching location, we make a brief pause and proceed on foot to the St. Nicholas Monastery. The uphill walk to the monastery provides a breathtaking view of the lake and the Morača delta. Established in 1233, the St. Nicholas Monastery is the oldest on Skadar Lake. Our excursion ends with a return to Virpazar.
